The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control will be migrating to a new system beginning at 4:30pm EDT June 23, 2021 thru 8:00am EDT June 28, 2021.
- New licenses, renewals, and complaints will continue to be processed in the current system, located at https://abc-portal.ky.gov, until 4:30pm EDT on June 23, 2021.
- The department will not accept any new licenses, renewals, or complaints between 4:30pm EDT June 23, 2021 and 8:00am EDT June 28, 2021.
- At 8:00am EDT Monday June 28, 2021 all new licenses, license renewals, and complaints will be processed in the new system. (Located under the eServices link, from the department's website, https://abc.ky.gov.)
The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board develops and enforces reasonable administrative regulations relative to the sale and use of alcoholic beverages. The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control includes various divisions as follows: the Commissioner’s office, the Distilled Spirits and Malt Beverage divisions, an administrative services branch, a licensing division, an education branch, a legal division and an enforcement division. These departments work together to ensure excellent public service and effective enforcement.
